“Tempest” is the precursor to “We Went Where People Don’t Go” (in the Places We Have Been series). The image was created by digitally painting representational objects into photos and then hand-printing each one in the solarplate intaglio process. While it is an edition, each print looks slightly different as the mark of the hand plays a big role in this series.
This is a limited edition, no more will be printed once these run out!
Each is handprinted with oil-based ink on Hahnemuhle Copperplate Etching paper and features deckle edges. Each paper is approximately 10” x 11”, the image including the embossed frame is 6” x 8”- the actual image itself is 5” x 7”.
